Water splashes
Water squirts
Water surges
The flow of water is freeing.
Unlike in the Canadian culture, water here moves freely in the household context.
Water runs across the bathroom floor, as I dump another container of water over my head to rinse the soap from my hair.
Water spills over the edge of the large ceramic-tiled holding tank in the bathroom, after the tap has been left on to replenish the supply of water for "dump" showers.
Water cools my feet, as it splashes over the edges of the large plastice laundry container. I hand wash the clothes then dump the soapy water on the patio for it to run towards the cement drain alongside the house. As the mid morning sun shines down on me, the water that splashes against my skin is welcomed.
Water moves across the kitchen floor under the guidance of a homemade broom held by a four year old. He does his part to assist with the cleaning of a relative's newly renovated home.
There seems to be no concern of water damaging building structures.
Water is. Water flows.
