New House

After living with a host family for 3.5 months, I'm now sharing a house with another M.C.C.'er. This is a our front gate which is generally locked. Our house is the small second house.


This is our front entrance. Since we have no green space, we have brought in potted-plants to give us some greenery. Before you enter the house, please remove your footwear at the door which is the Lao custom.



This is the kitchen. Our latest purchase was the toaster.

This is the living room. Our place is still decorated for Christams. Since it gets dark by 6:00 p.m., we continue to enjoy the ambiance of the Christmas lights and candles.
