From Ant Eggs To Pumpkin Pancakes

In a month, one just never knows what one will have the opportunity to sample in South East Asia. Ant Eggs are quite common during this time of year, and so the MCC cook prepared two dishes for the "foreigners" to sample. Fried spiders may appeal to some, but I was content just to take a photo of them. In the past few months I have gained increased appreciation for Japanese food and the art of food preparation. Japanese food is to pleasure the palate, as well as, the eye. And of course, a western array of sweets and comfort foods, is always a treat.
